Hands on History
September 20 @ 10:30 am
Dinosaurs Galore! Did you know that Dinosaurs once roamed here in the Culpeper area? Young paleontologists will explore the world of dinosaurs with stories, games, and crafts. Join us for a DINO-MITE morning!
“Hands on History” is the museum’s interactive series of children’s programming that brings fun facts, objects, and activities out of the past to your family today!
The series, targeted at ages 2-5, will be held monthly. Each month will feature a different craft inspired by local history. Past programs have included flying kites, drawing maps, and making your own dinosaur tracks!
There is no admission fee for this program. To reserve a spot or for more information, contact Jayne Hall, Education Coordinator, at email@example.com or call 540-829-1749. Admission to these programs is FREE thanks to funding from the Rappahannock Electric Cooperative through a Power of Change grant.
The museum continues to follow COVID masking, cleaning and social distancing protocols for children’s programs. Participating children and their families are requested to mask during the program.
