Little Learners at the Museum of Culpeper History

March 16 @ 10:30 am

It’s madness! Do you know why basketball was invented? Or why it is called basketball? Come celebrate March Madness at the Museum of Culpeper History by learning about the creation of basketball, Culpeper’s very own basketball superstar Keith “Mister” Jennings and trying your hand at shooting some hoops.
Same great program but with a new name. Hands on History is NOW Little Learners!
“Little Learners” is the museum’s interactive series of children’s programming that brings fun facts, objects, and activities out of the past to your family today!
The series, targeted at ages 2-5, will be held monthly. Each month will feature a different craft inspired by local history. Past programs have included flying kites, drawing maps, and making your own dinosaur tracks!
There is no admission fee for this program. Admission to these programs is FREE thanks to funding from the Rappahannock Electric Cooperative through a Power of Change grant.
This program is for Children ages 2-5. Parents/ guardians must accompany their children.
THIS EVENT IS STRICTLY LIMITED TO 15 CHILDREN.
Participants may be photographed for use in museum promotional and marketing material.
