Glazed Up! is looking for a friendly, outgoing, and responsible studio assistant! No experience necessary, but must be comfortable interacting with the public, assisting others, working independently, and processing payments.
Job duties will include (but are not limited to):
Greeting customers.
Giving instructions on painting pottery.
Helping customers create fused glass pendants.
Helping with birthday parties, summer camps, and large-scale events.
Cleaning tables, paint brushes and palates.
Helping keep track of inventory and supplies.
Creating a relaxing and pleasurable environment where people (employees included) can have fun!
This is a SEASONAL PART-TIME position, that has the potential to turn into regular PART-TIME hours. Applicants must have a flexible schedule as Glazed Up is currently open on Thursdays 1-8pm and Fridays and Saturdays 10-8pm until the end of the summer. We plan to be open evenings and weekends once school starts.
Hourly pay starts at $12 per hour with a potential increase after 30 days.
