Who says low-maintenance can’t be fabulous? Succulents and cacti prove otherwise. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create your very own mini desert garden. MacKenzie will guide you through mixing the right soil, selecting the perfect plants, and styling your arrangement with top dressings and decor to make it truly yours. Whether you’re new to the succulent scene or already obsessed, you’ll leave with something lovely, low-maintenance, and uniquely you.
Registration Details
Your registration covers 45 minutes of guided instruction, a 6” planter, a variety of succulents and cacti to choose from and a selection of decorative toppings to personalize your design.

Arrive 5–10 minutes early to check in, and we’ll start right on time. Our workshops are held in our new location at 105 E Davis Street. Kids aged 9 and up are welcome to join, but space is limited to one guardian per participant under 18.

About the Instructor
MacKenzie is our in-house Store Manager and Plant Specialist at Botanical Dwellings. She has been with Botanical Dwellings for three years and loves teaching many of our tropical and arid-focused workshops. Whether she’s leading a succulent demo or lighting levels in the shop, MacKenzie is ready to share her love for all things green (and sometimes spiky).
