Join us in historic downtown Culpeper directly in front of the Depot, located at 111 Commerce Street, Culpeper VA 22701, for the kick-off concert of the 3rd Thursday Summer Concert Series, brought to you by Culpeper Renaissance, Inc., a downtown development organization dedicated to enhancing, celebrating, and enriching Culpeper’s Downtown. David Martin, 2022 3rd Thursday chairman, states “I am thrilled to be Chairman of the 3rd Thursday Concert Series again and working with all the dedicated volunteers. This year’s concerts, I believe, will offer some of the best upbeat music and dance favorites ever. Please join me and all your friends at the depot for four evenings of fun, food, and great music!”

The summer concert series begins on May 19, 2022, with the high energy variety show from The Deloreans, the ultimate 80s tribute band. The Deloreans are a seasoned showband comprised of 6 distinct vocalists that cover the most memorable artists and nostalgic songs of the ‘80s. Each band member is featured throughout the show, making this band’s most notable attribute its unmatched variety. The Deloreans are known for their dynamic ‘80s costumes, unstoppable energy, and their ability to bring down the house EVERY time. GRAB your dancing shoes, legwarmers, and hairspray; this is one concert Culpeper music lovers should not miss!

The festivities continue on June 16, 2022, with The Entertainers, known across the Carolinas for being at the forefront of classic beach music with their soulful sounds. While staying true to their r&b and beach music roots, the group also satisfies the most diverse audiences by playing selections from the latest hip hop to classic rock and roll. Come to the Depot area ready to dance and sing; the first note from The Entertainers Band will surely lead you to the dance floor with a smile on your face.

July 21st features The Unsuitables, Rock and Roll with a twist of Funk and Soul. This high-energy group of local and regional musicians really know how to please the crowd with a focus on classic R&B, Motown classics, and a mixture of rock and blues music. Their harmonies and song selection work in so many ways. From old to young, their success is related to the energy they put into their performances. They want folks to dance and sing!

Join us for our final concert of the summer on August 18, 2022, with The WORX, an award-winning group and the most consistently requested band of the series. The Worx perform modern and classic rock-n-roll covers as well as original material with such energetic enthusiasm that everyone will be on their feet for this highly sought-after show. From their amazing head-turning classic rock-n-roll covers (you won’t be sure you’re not hearing the original artists) to their own crowd-pleasing hits, The Worx deliver an EXCITING show.
