Calling all little monsters, spooky sweethearts, and Halloween enthusiasts! Culpeper Downtown is getting a little spooky, a little silly, and a whole lot sweeter this Halloween as Culpeper Renaissance, Inc. (CRI) brings back its annual Downtown Merchant Trick-or-Treat on Saturday, October 31, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Forget knocking on neighborhood doors! This Halloween, the treats are coming to Culpeper Downtown. Merchants and community partners will welcome costumed trick-or-treaters along the 100 and 200 blocks of East Davis Street, transforming downtown into a festive Halloween destination filled with candy, costumes, and plenty of family-friendly fun.

From pint-sized pumpkins and giggling ghosts to superheroes, witches, and wonderfully wacky homemade costumes, all little trick-or-treaters are invited to show off their Halloween spirit. So dust off those capes, fluff up those tutus, practice your best monster roar, and don’t forget your trick-or-treat bag. There’s candy to collect and Halloween memories to make!

But the fun doesn’t have to end when the candy bags start filling up! Families are encouraged to wander beyond the trick-or-treat route, explore downtown’s locally owned shops, and grab a bite at one of the area’s restaurants. Halloween is the perfect excuse to make an evening of it while showing some love to the small businesses that make Culpeper Downtown so special.
