Join us for one of Culpeper’s most cherished holiday traditions — the annual Culpeper Christmas Parade! Each year, thousands gather along historic Main Street to enjoy dazzling floats, festive music, twinkling lights, and the spirit of the season. Bring your family, friends, and holiday cheer as the community comes together to celebrate Christmas in the heart of Culpeper. From marching bands to Santa’s grand arrival, this is the can’t-miss event that kicks off the holidays in true small-town style. Be sure to come out early and enjoy the Holiday Sunday Funday for the KIDS event too!
Please note, this event will be held rain or shine; however, in the event of severe weather, it will be cancelled and not rescheduled.
Proceeds from this years event will be donated to Wreaths Across America an organization dedicated to remembering and honoring our nation’s veterans through the placement of wreaths each December.
The parade begins at Piedmont Street, where participants line up and prepare their dazzling floats. From there, the procession travels down Main Street, passing the beautifully decorated shops, restaurants, and historic buildings that make downtown Culpeper so special. Spectators line both sides of Main Street to wave, cheer, and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season. The parade concludes at Mason Street, marking the grand finale of this beloved community tradition.
