Halloween!
Ever wonder why we carve jack-o’-lanterns or go trick-or-treating at Halloween? Well, put on your Halloween costume (age-appropriate and NO MASKS, please), and come explore fun Halloween traditions, help Halloween monsters get supplies for their holiday party, and make a ghost to take home.
“Elementary Explorers” is an interactive series of children’s programming that brings fun facts and activities out of the past!
The series, targeted at ages 5-9, will be held monthly. Each month will feature a different activity and craft inspired by local history.
A Parent/guardian must accompany their children.
This program is FREE thanks to a Power of Change grant from the Rappahannock Electric Cooperative.
THIS EVENT IS STRICTLY LIMITED TO 15 CHILDREN. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED!
Participants may be photographed for use in museum promotional and marketing material.
