President George Washington!
Come celebrate President’s Day by learning about the first president, George Washington. Participants will explore the life of George Washington including his connection to Culpeper, look around the museum for clues about events in his life and put them in order, and make a George Washington puppet to take home.
“Elementary Explorers” is an interactive series of children’s programming that brings fun facts and activities out of the past!
The series, targeted at ages 5-9, will be held monthly. Each month will feature a different activity and craft inspired by local history.
A Parent/guardian must accompany their children.
This program is FREE thanks to a Power of Change grant from the Rappahannock Electric Cooperative.
THIS EVENT IS STRICTLY LIMITED TO 15 CHILDREN. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED!
