Patriots of Color in the American Revolution
As we approach the 250th anniversary of our country’s founding, we look at the role African Americans played in the fight for independence. The focus will be on men from Culpeper, with emphasis on free man William Clark and enslaved man Spencer Slaughter. We are happy to partner with the African American Heritage Alliance for this program.
This program will be held at the museum. Space is limited, so get your ticket today! Admission is $5 per person, but Museum members get in FREE.
Participants may be photographed for use in museum promotional and marketing material.
