It’s Back! The Annual Plant Swap for a Cause
Sunday, July 13th | 2–4 PM
Calling all plant lovers, collectors, and budding green thumbs! Join us for a feel-good afternoon of swapping plants, making new connections, and supporting a powerful cause.
Why We’re Gathering:
Our Plant Swap For A Cause benefits S.A.F.E., a local nonprofit that provides shelter, support, and advocacy for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Your entry fee, all raffle ticket sales, and 15% of every purchase made at Botanical Dwellings during the event will be donated to S.A.F.E. Let’s make an impact—together.
What to Expect:
– A lively and welcoming plant swap both in our workshop room AND at Seven on Davis (140 E Davis St, Culpeper, VA 22701) down the street. Seven on Davis has kindly opened their space to accommodate all our swappers. Please check in at Botanical Dwellings first before you go exploring!
– Raffle prizes you’ll actually want – donated by your favorite local businesses. Raffle tickets will be available for $2/ticket or $20 for a wingspans’ worth! Winners for the raffle will be drawn at the end of the event.
– Feel-good shopping—Not only will we be bringing in special plants just for the event – 15% of every Botanical Dwellings purchase during the event goes directly to S.A.F.E.
– The First 50 people to purchase a ticket will also receive a Swag Bag with local goodies! Don’t wait.
No plants to swap? No problem. You’re still welcome to come enjoy the day, shop, and enter to win raffle prizes.
How to Swap:
– If you would like to swap plants, pre-registration is required to ensure we have enough table space for everyone. If you are purchasing multiple tickets, please add the names of each participant in the notes on your order.
– All plants and cuttings must be healthy, pest-free, and clearly labeled with the plant name and your name (add your Instagram handle if you’d like to connect!)
– All swaps must be agreed upon by both parties
– Bring as much or as little as you’d like—but the more unique plants and accessories you bring, the better your chances of going home with something new and exciting.
