Culpeper Renaissance, Inc. Invites Local Artists to Propose Mural for Downtown Power Box

Culpeper, VA – January 6, 2026 – In a vibrant move to enhance the visual appeal of downtown Culpeper, Culpeper Renaissance, Inc. (CRI) has announced a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a mural to be painted on a metal power box located on the 100 block of West Davis Street. This initiative aims to celebrate the town’s rich history and lively culture while providing local artists with an opportunity to showcase their talents.

The project’s goal is to transform a functional piece of infrastructure into a colorful work of art that resonates with the community. The selected mural is expected to not only beautify the area but also engage residents and visitors alike.
