Tricks, Treats & Tiny Monsters Take Over Downtown Culpeper This Halloween!
CULPEPER, VA — Calling all little monsters, spooky sweethearts, and Halloween enthusiasts! Culpeper Downtown is getting a little spooky, a little silly, and a whole lot sweeter this Halloween as Culpeper Renaissance, Inc. (CRI), in partnership with the Culpeper Police Department, hosts the annual Downtown Merchant Trick-or-Treat on Saturday, October 31, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
This Halloween tradition brings local merchants, community partners, and families together for an evening of sweet treats, creative costumes, and festive fun along the 100 and 200 blocks of East Davis Street. Through its partnership with the Culpeper Police Department, CRI is proud to bring the community together for a fun, family-friendly Halloween celebration in the heart of downtown Culpeper.
Forget knocking on neighborhood doors! This Halloween, the treats are coming to Culpeper Downtown. Merchants and community partners will welcome costumed trick-or-treaters along the 100 and 200 blocks of East Davis Street, transforming downtown into a festive Halloween destination filled with candy, costumes, and plenty of family-friendly fun.
From pint-sized pumpkins and giggling ghosts to superheroes, witches, and wonderfully wacky homemade costumes, all little trick-or-treaters are invited to show off their Halloween spirit. So dust off those capes, fluff up those tutus, practice your best monster roar, and don’t forget your trick-or-treat bag. There’s candy to collect and Halloween memories to make!
But the fun doesn’t have to end when the candy bags start filling up! Families are encouraged to wander beyond the trick-or-treat route, explore downtown’s locally owned shops, and grab a bite at one of the area’s restaurants. Halloween is the perfect excuse to make an evening of it while showing some love to the small businesses that make Culpeper Downtown so special.
Hosted by Culpeper Renaissance, Inc., Culpeper’s nonprofit Main Street organization, Downtown Merchant Trick-or-Treat is more than just a chance to stock up on sweets. It’s a celebration of community, local businesses, and the magic that happens when downtown comes together. By bringing families into the heart of Culpeper, CRI helps create memorable experiences while supporting a vibrant and thriving downtown district.
So, gather your little goblins, round up your favorite witches, and get ready for a Halloween evening that’s sure to be a treat!
