The Culpeper Downtown Farmers Market is excited to welcome the return of the Winter Market to Culpeper Downtown! Located in the East Davis Street parking lot, close to all your favorite restaurants and shops, you can find the Winter Market operating Saturday, December 2nd, 9th and 16th, from 9am to 12pm.
Shop 19 full and part time vendors you know and love from the regular Market season; including, A Taste for Rustic, Baire’s Choice Mushrooms, Calvin Eat Sourdough, Double L Farm & Apiary, Fair Winds Farm, Great Harvest Bakery, Green Barn Bakery, Loving Paws Big & Small, Mandi’s Dandies, Mars Makes, Native Shire, One Twenty Seven Coffee, Persimmons Hollow Farm, Shawneehaw Cattle Company, Son of a Bear Cider, Sunshine Acres Farm, Temalle Ltd., Too Hot to Candle and Uncle Andy’s Herbs with Jacked Up Foods. Plus, enjoy three new vendors, Creations by the Hulchers, Crystal Cid Wraps and Sleepy Bee Honey.
The Culpeper Downtown Winter Farmers Market looks forward to providing you with a holiday themed, open-air Market experience, encouraging you to shop small and support local, while stocking up on pantry staples and even checking a few holiday gifts off your list. Additionally, be entertained by live music while you shop, from local artists Eric Misa, Paul Rogers and Mo & Mary Mac, on respective Saturdays.
SNAP matching will continue at the Culpeper Downtown Winter Farmers Market, increasing from $25 to $35 (while funds are available). Meaning, we swipe your EBT card for $35 and you receive $70 in tokens to spend at the Market on food items or food producing plants. Kids’ I’m SOW Healthy Farmers Market Activity Packs will also be available in limited quantities at the Winter Market. These packs include a kid friendly recipe, the Culpeper Downtown “A Christmas Story” themed Scavenger Hunt and the ever popular $5 Farm Fresh Dollars. Remember, Farm Fresh Dollars expire at the end of the year, so be sure to spend them by December 16th!
